Divinyls are reforming, without Chrissy, for a fashion show – The Industry Observer

In probably the most excessive-profile Australian case of “simply go away it the fuck alone” since INXS determined to exchange their clearly irreplaceable vocalist, Divinyls members Mark McEntee, Richard Harvey and Rick Grossman are teaming with The Preatures’ Izzi Manfredi and Jack Moffitt below the title ‘Divinyls’.

Chrissy Amphlett tragically handed away in 2013, which many assume would convey the band to a pure shut. Not so, because the model is introduced out once more for Wheels & Dollbaby’s 30th anniversary show, the place they'll play a half hour set at Telstra Perth Fashion Competition.

Wheels & Dollbaby is the mind-little one of McEntee’s companion Melanie Greensmith, who's the founder and head designer.

Greensmith instructed The West Australian she is “thrilled” the band are reforming for her show.

“We began in 1987, and I can keep in mind Mark and Chrissy coming into my little store and shopping for all these items. And so they wore a lot of my stuff. I’m simply so thrilled that he mentioned he’d do it for me, as a result of so many individuals have requested him over time and he has all the time mentioned, ‘Nah’.

“, like promoters and everybody … and ‘we’ll get you this singer and we’ll get you that singer’. He by no means wished to break his model, you recognize what I imply?”

Till now.

Let's spread the love!
