Gucci's Star Trek-inspired fashion is horny, sci-fi heaven – CNET

Fashion, the ultimate frontier.

Coco Chanel used to say, "Earlier than you permit the home, look within the mirror and take one factor off."

However in case you're Gucci? Add some area monsters, throw in just a few robots and beam all the things away on a teleporter, dammit!

The long-lasting fashion home has launched its Fall/Winter 2017 fashion marketing campaign and it is a match made in '60s Star Trek heaven. The design home started teasing the Gucci and Beyond campaign on its Instagram yesterday, slowly revealing pictures of UFOs, glittered space rocks and horny, horny aliens in bedazzled eyeglasses. (This season's development? Blue pores and skin set off with a shiny purple lip. A glance that goes from workplace to Mars with ease.)

Whereas Chanel held its latest runway show in a pretend information centre, photographer and filmmaker Glen Luchford (who shot the marketing campaign) has gone again in time to recreate classic sci-fi in all its low-tech, sepia-toned glory.

It isn't farshun, darling. It is Martian.

Editors' Notice: Star Trek is owned by CBS, the corporate that owns CNET.

Let's spread the love!
