A brilliant-fashionable crowd gathered on the West Hollywood house of designer Rosetta Getty on Tuesday night time to rejoice Tania Fares and her newest vogue tome, “London Uprising: Fifty Fashion Designers, One City.”
Mario Testino, Rowan Blanchard, Jacqui Getty, Gia Coppola, Eric Butterbaugh, Irina Medavoy, Jennifer Meyer, Brigette Romanek, Pamela Skaist-Levy, Gela Nash Taylor, and Kelly Sawyer had been available for the sundown soiree, sipping cocktails and nibbling apps by Jon and Vinny's on Getty’s terrace. Fares is the British Fashion Council Fashion Belief co-founder and a Vogue contributor. Her new e book, printed by Phaidon, takes readers on a behind-the-scenes tour of the studios of fifty of London vogue’s main lights, together with Stella McCartney, Simone Rocha, J.W. Anderson and Paul Smith, to uncover the inventive hub that has emerged in town in the previous fifteen years.
“There wasn’t a e book that celebrated these designers and how totally different and particular person they're,” says Fares.
