Raf Simons, Stuart Vevers, Monse win CFDA Fashion Awards – Los Angeles Times

The winners of the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards have been revealed Monday evening on the Hammerstein Ballroom right here, and Raf Simons took house probably the most prizes.

After a mere one season on the helm of Calvin Klein, the Belgian-born designer took house twin awards for Womenswear Designer of the 12 months and Menswear Designer of the 12 months. Calvin Klein himself was the one different designer to obtain each honors the identical 12 months in 1993.

In the meantime, the Accent Designer of the 12 months prize went to a different international-born designer: The British-born Stuart Vevers for Coach. The Swarovski Award for Rising Expertise went to Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia for Monse.
