Greater than 100 Ipswich pupils and workers took to the catwalk in a bid to boost sufficient money to pay for a day of care at hospices throughout Suffolk.

St Joseph’s College managed to gather £5,000 – plus a additional donation of £500 raised by the Father or mother Instructor Affiliation – with a profitable fashion show.

Each penny raised will go in the direction of a day of care at East Anglia’s Youngsters’s Hospices (EACH) throughout Suffolk.

The show was co-compèred by West Finish and Broadway performer – and present guardian – Ruthie Henshall and radio presenter Wayne Bavin.

Clothes and niknaks had been on show from Coes, Co-op Opticians, City Classic and Thea lily Loves.

Two college students from St Joseph’s additionally launched their very own labels, Gravity and Felidae.

Head of performing arts Vicki Harvey mentioned: “It's fantastic that collectively as a neighborhood now we have raised such an unimaginable quantity for EACH.”
