Cape Town – The Mercedes Benz Cape Town Fashion Week was postponed on Saturday after sturdy winds disrupted it for a 3rd day.
This was after the Cape Town Cycle Tour was cancelled on March 12 as a result of winds approaching 50 km/h.
Occasion organisers, African Fashion Worldwide (AFI), stated on Fb that the style week would now be held from April 6-eight.
"Following the recommendation of our engineering specialists, we've got made the chief resolution to postpone [the event]," they stated.
The style week's first present was cancelled on Thursday after organisers stated winds posed a security threat.
On Friday, company have been requested to go away the venue by 18:20.
"The protection of our company is our foremost concern," occasion organisers stated.
