Two Pune students — Komal Pujar and Shweta Darade — have been again from London after residing their ‘dream-come-true’ second. The duo, each style designing students, showcased their collection at the London Fashion Week 2017 and are proud runner-up within the Fashion Scout phase.
Each Pujar and Darade are students of metropolis-based mostly INIFD, Deccan department. Pujar’s collection, ‘The Royal Gateways of Jaipur’, was impressed from the Jaipur’s Metropolis Palace, having 4 gates with lovely work representing the 4 season and Hindu gods. Amongst these 4 gates, the gate that represents autumn and winter season and named ‘The Peacock Gate’ and ‘The Rose Gate’ is the inspiration behind her collection. She selected the peacock color palette like cobalt blue, emerald inexperienced, tan, and brown. She used the pastel color palette which included lightest shades of blue, mahogany rose and peach. The use of silk denim material created a style assertion with various kinds of washed results, frayed edges and fringes, flowy georgettes bedeck with crochet for ‘jaali work’. She says, “The collection contains fish lower, uneven and sheath lower robes, culottes, saggy match trousers and peplum shirt that are very superbly adorned primarily with hand embroidery chikankari and jaali work.”
